National Child Abuse Prevention Month (NCAPM), Activity, Weekly Programs

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Children’s Bureau has started the initiative National Child Abuse Prevention Month (NCAPM) under the Child Welfare Information Gateway. Basically, April is Known For National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Importance of this Month is to help Families Thrive and Prevent child abuse. In 1974, the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) was Released. The Main Motive of this CAPTA Act is to Stop Child Abuse and Spread Awareness of Child Abuse. So In Order to Recognise a specific month for Child Abuse, the National Child Abuse Prevention Month is Released.

As we already discussed a lot of Information on Child Abuse and Neglect in our Previous Post. Today, we are going to Discuss National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The NCAPM is about the Support Prevention, Assessment, Investigation, Prosecution, and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect. Not only this, the 4th Friday of April is Recognized as the Children Memorial Flag Day.

Many US Citizens are still unaware of Child Abuse Facts. But Seriously Child Behaviours Change like Depression, Unsocially Reactions, Physical Health, and Mental Health show that the Reason Behind this is Child Abuse. So the Government has Formed the Children’s Bureau under the Department of Health and Human Services.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month is Funded by the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act. Not Only NCAPM, the Children’s Bureau also provides a Special Month For children which is National Adoption Month and National Foster Care Month. To Secure the Future of the Country, Children Need to be Protected and Supported.
