In 1974, the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) was Released. The Main Motive of this CAPTA Act is to Stop Child Abuse and Spread Awareness of Child Abuse. So In Order to Recognise a specific month for Child Abuse, the National Child Abuse Prevention Month is Released.
National Child Abuse Prevention Month (NCAPM)
As we already discussed a lot of Information on Child Abuse and Neglect in our Previous Post. Today, we are going to Discuss National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The NCAPM is about the Support Prevention, Assessment, Investigation, Prosecution, and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect. Not only this, the 4th Friday of April is Recognized as the Children Memorial Flag Day.
Many US Citizens are still unaware of Child Abuse Facts. But Seriously Child Behaviours Change like Depression, Unsocially Reactions, Physical Health, and Mental Health show that the Reason Behind this is Child Abuse. So the Government has Formed the Children’s Bureau under the Department of Health and Human Services.

Not Only NCAPM, the Children’s Bureau also provides a Special Month For children which is National Adoption Month and National Foster Care Month.
